Adventure
Hollowreach
★★★★★ 4.5
Hollowreach is a slow, moody adventure that trusts you to explore. There's no map marker screaming at you; instead you wander a foggy coastal town, poke at objects and slowly piece together what happened here. It's the kind of game you play with headphones.
Puzzles are environmental and fair. I never got stuck for long, and when I did the answer was usually something I'd walked past twice. The pacing is deliberate, which won't be for everyone, but I found it hypnotic.
Touch controls are simple taps and swipes, and the whole thing is short and complete, no strings attached. It respects your time and just wants you to feel a place.
